TP-Link MC100CM
Media converter designed to convert media from optical line 100BASE-FX to metallic line 100Base-TX and vice versa. The converter was designed according to the IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards, and is intended for use with a multimode optical cable with a SC type connector. Supports Long Wave Laser (LX) specification at maximum packet forwarding rate. It uses a wavelength of 1310 nm for receiving and sending data.
Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a stand-alone device (no chassis required) or with a TP-LINK 19' chassis, MDI/MDI-X auto-detection for the TX port, duplex mode auto-negotiation on the TX port, and status LEDs on the front panel . The MC100CM supports data transmission over a distance of up to 2 km using a multimode optical cable.
