TP-Link MC200CM
Gigabit media converter designed to convert media from optical line 1000BASE-SX to metallic line 10/100/1000Base-T and vice versa. The converter was designed according to the IEEE802.3ab 10/100/1000Base-T standards, and is intended for use with a multimode optical cable with a SC type connector. Supports Short Wave Laser (SX) specification at maximum packet forwarding rate. It uses a wavelength of 850 nm for receiving and sending data.
Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a stand-alone device (no chassis required) or with a TP-LINK 19' chassis, MDI/MDI-X auto-detection for the TX port, and front panel status LEDs. The MC200CM module supports data transmission using a multimode optical cable over a distance of up to 0.55 km.
The media converter only supports gigabit ethernet. It does not support 10/100 Mbps speeds
