The media converter using WDM single-mode with SC connector uses only one optical cable to send and receive data, which cuts cabling costs in half. It uses a wavelength of 1310 nm for sending data and 1550 nm for receiving data. The MC111CS converter is thus used on the other side of the optical fiber.
Converter metallic network to optical. It is suitable wherever the distance between two points is longer than a classic metallic network allows and a galvanic connection cannot be used. Optical fibers are also very resistant to disruptive electromagnetic or atmospheric influences.
WDM Singlemode Converter - converter with two-way data transmission along one optical fiber. Two-way transmission is achieved by using two wavelengths, one for transmission and one for reception. This eliminates the need to run a separate fiber for each direction of transmission.
