2N IP Verso Touch Keyboard & RFID — Multi-Authentication Access Module

Modern access control requires secure, flexible and user-friendly technologies. This expansion module for 2N IP Verso and 2N LTE Verso intercoms combines a capacitive touch keyboard with a multi-frequency RFID reader supporting 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz frequencies, including NFC. It allows a secure transition from less secure cards to MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3 while maintaining compatibility with older EM4xxx cards. Thanks to two-step authentication (PIN + RFID card), it ensures an increased level of protection. This combination of features makes the module ideal for environments with high security requirements.

Customized access thanks to RFID and PIN

The multi-frequency RFID reader allows the use of a wide range of cards including ISO14443A, PicoPass (HID iClass), FeliCa and ST SR(IX), ensuring flexibility for different types of users. NFC support allows mobile devices to be used as keys with the 2N Mobile Key application, which is ideal for modern offices and residences. The combination of RFID cards with PIN codes supports two-step authentication, which increases access security.

Capacitive touch keyboard with adaptive technology

The touch keyboard uses a capacitive layer with a high sensitivity of 0.1 pF, which ensures accurate touch recognition. Thanks to the SmartSence Autotuning function, the keyboard is regularly calibrated to remain reliable in changing environmental conditions. This technology prevents false presses, for example when in contact with a wet surface. Configurable backlighting and multi-color LED signaling provide visual feedback, while acoustic feedback improves user comfort.
