Power and connectivity

The XtendLan POE-PAS injector operates with 5-48 V DC power supply and supports current up to 2 A, which allows powering a variety of network devices, including those with higher power requirements. It uses a standardized pinout for data and power transmission: 1/2 (+) and 3/6 (-) for data and 4/5 (+) and 7/8 (-) for power. This makes the system compatible with a wide range of devices and cabling.

Compatibility and flexible installation

The injector supports use with shielded and unshielded cables such as Cat5E, Cat6 and higher, providing flexibility in network design. The ability to be powered by solar batteries or standard DC adapters makes it ideal for installations in remote locations without access to the electrical grid. An adapter with an output voltage of 48 V DC is recommended for powering PoE IP cameras.
