The SmartSolar solar controller processes energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries, maximizes solar gains, intelligently maintains battery condition and extends its life. The SmartSolar solar controller can recharge even a deeply discharged battery, because it can operate with a battery voltage of up to 0 volts, provided that the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

Ultra-fast MPPT technology

The controller constantly monitors the voltage and current from the solar panels and, thanks to MPPT technology, extracts maximum energy from them, which is especially advantageous with variable solar radiation intensity. MPPT technology provides up to 30% more energy gain compared to PWM solar controllers and up to 10% more gain compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Remote monitoring and control

If your installation is connected to the internet with a GX device, the VRM portal provides access to your devices anytime, anywhere.

Built-in Bluetooth

With built-in Bluetooth, you can pair the SmartSolar solar controller with your smartphone or other device via the VictronConnect app to set up, monitor or update the system.

VE.Direct connector

The VE.Direct is used to connect to a GX device, PC or other devices.

Excellent conversion efficiency

The controller has excellent conversion efficiency. The maximum efficiency exceeds 98%. One of the advantages of high efficiency is that the controller does not have a cooling fan and the maximum output current is guaranteed up to an ambient temperature of 40 °C (104 °F).
