Ubiquiti NanoStation 5 AC

The popular NanoStation AC outdoor unit in a new design and with 802.11ac support, thanks to which it achieves a throughput of 450+ Mbps. Ideal for client units or Point-to-Point connections.

NanoStation AC is outdoor and has integrated 16dBi (5GHz) with horizontal and vertical polarization (MIMO2x2). For high transmission rates, the unit uses 256QAM modulation and the AirMAX TDMA protocol to achieve low latencies.

NanoStation AC is from the second generation of airMAX AC devices that support wireless access to the unit and the ability to set it up in the UNMS app for mobile devices. The UNMS application also helps with the orientation of the connection and will significantly speed up its installation.

The airOS 8 web interface is intuitive and displays a real-time constellation diagram and SNR progress. The unit supports AP/client modes in Point-to-MultiBod or Point-to-Point networks and router or bridge modes.

NanoStation AC, like every device in the airMAX AC series, has a dedicated radio for continuous spectral analysis of the 5 GHz band

Another advantage is support of PoE Out on the second ethernet port for direct powering of another device, for example a UniFi Video G3\ camera. The PoE Out output voltage corresponds to the selected PoE power supply at the input. This feature can also be disabled in software.

NanoStation AC has improved surge protection that protects the device against electrostatic discharge.

NanoStation AC supports passive PoE power supply 24V and active PoE power supply 802.3af alternate A.
