The LiteBeam (LBE-M5-23) is a powerful complete outdoor unit including a 23 dBi antenna for the 5 GHz band suitable as a client device or for a point-to-point link. The unit enables communication at speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
The LiteBeam uses a newly designed lightweight antenna design for easier tool-free assembly. The patented InnerFeed technology integrates the entire radio part directly into the radiator, which is covered with highly resistant UV-stabilized plastic.
For high transfer rates, the unit uses the 802.11a/n standard and the revolutionary AirMAX (TDMA) protocol to achieve low latencies. The antenna system consists of a 23dBi antenna. With LiteBeam units, it is thus possible to connect a client up to a distance of 30 km.
The advantage of Litebeam is the spirit level and the innovative hinged holder, thanks to which it is possible to turn the antenna to the desired position and aim precisely.
Despite the parabolic antenna, you will find the unit in a practical compact package. Great price/performance ratio and easy installation predisposes to massive deployment in wireless networks.
