Save on the number of fibers used and use WDM technology, which enables two-way data transmission over one optical fiber. The module enables communication at a speed of up to 1.25 Gbps at a distance of up to 20 km.
The module is designed to be inserted into the SFP slot of the MC220L switch or media converter and is powered directly from these devices. On the other side of the connection, it is required to use the TL-SM321B module. The MiniGBIC is equipped with a holder for easy removal from the SFP slot.
