Specialized tHAT4 expansion board for LAN controller devices with extended control and communication capabilities

tHAT4 is designed to expand the functionality of LAN controllers and offers additional open collector outputs, connections for relay boards and other communication interfaces. The board is fully compatible with LK3.9 and LK3.7+ models (hardware versions 3.7 and 3.8), while the older LK3.5 and LK3.6 models do not support the Modbus (RS-485) converter.

Thanks to its design, tHAT4 allows easy integration into existing systems and expansion of their functionality with the ability to control external devices via relays, communicate via Modbus RTU industrial bus and connect analog sensors.

IDC10 connectors for relay boards

HAT4 is equipped with two IDC10 connectors specially designed for connecting relay boards. The first connector provides OUT1-OUT4 lines, while the second offers PWM0-PWM3 lines and 3.3 V power supply.

Industrial Modbus RTU communication

Integrated support for the RS-485 industrial bus with the Modbus RTU protocol allows connection to a wide range of industrial devices and sensors. Connection is made via a screw terminal block with A+ and B- pins.

Analog inputs and serial port

The board offers INPA5 and INPA6 analog inputs for connecting analog sensors. For advanced users, serial port pins (+5 V, Rx, Tx, GND) are also available, ready for optional soldering of pins or wires.
