Tachyon TNA-303L-65 — compact 60GHz client unit

Long-range wireless connectivity is now accessible and easy to deploy with the Tachyon TNA-303L-65 unit. This device enables the construction of high-speed links with throughput up to 1 Gbps, without the need for building modifications, licenses or permits. Full support for the 57-71 GHz frequency band, including channels 5 and 6, allows for an extension of the range up to 3 km in PTP mode and ensures high flexibility when deployed in dense networks. Thanks to the ultra-compact dimensions 130 × 120 × 100 mm and a weight of 425 g, the device is unobtrusive and easy to install in any environment.

High-speed transmission and flexible deployment

The device is ideal for relieving congested sub-7GHz bands or for creating high-speed point-to-point connections between buildings. Beam steering with a radiation angle of 8° × 8° ensures precise signal focusing and stable connection performance even over long distances. Thanks to support for proprietary TDMA protocol with dynamic scheduling, the unit is also suitable for applications such as video surveillance systems. The ability to configure operating modes (Station and PTP) in software ensures maximum adaptability to network needs.

Advanced network functions and security

The unit operates in transparent bridge mode and supports advanced functions such as DHCP snooping, VLAN for data and management, traffic shaping and IPv4/IPv6 support. AES 128 + GCMP encryption provides a high level of protection for transmitted data, which is essential for systems requiring maximum security. A wide range of options are available for device management, including a web interface, SNMP v2/v3, SNMP traps and RESTful API.

Power and easy installation

The unit is powered by active PoE with a range of 38-57 VDC, with a maximum consumption of only 15 W. For easy setup, the unit is equipped with 1× USB port, while 1× GbE RJ-45 port provides reliable wired connectivity. LED indicators allow for quick checking of signal level, power status and Ethernet link, simplifying installation and diagnostics.
