ActivEQ MZ99 analog tuning

The ActivEQ MZ99 mode was designed specifically for Meze 99 headphones to improve their natural sound performance. This technology strengthens and deepens the bass range, ensures more legible mids and adds airiness and energy to the highs. Everything is done purely in the analog domain, eliminating digital distortion and preserving the naturalness of the music. With a simple press of a button, ActivEQ can be turned off, making the amplifier neutral.

Performance and amplifier architecture

The amplifier is equipped with a discrete balanced Class A output buffer and a JFET input stage with extremely low noise. Thanks to these technologies, it provides enough power even for the most demanding headphones.
