Small-Form-Pluggable (SFP) miniGBIC conversion Gigabit module. Standard 1000Base-LX, IEEE82.3z. Simplex SC connector, for single-mode fibers. It enables two-way communication over a single optical fiber.

They are equipped with Digital Diagnostic & Monitoring. In switches and converters equipped with DDM support, they are able to diagnose the amplitude of the optical signal.

Expands/converts switch and converter ports with miniGBIC (SFP) slots.

It can also be used for multimode, long-term verified applications on 50/125um fibers with a range of 1km without the use of mode condition cables.

For the connection between WDM modules, it is necessary to combine the TX/RX wavelengths of the opposite sides, pairs of modules are usually distinguished by a code representing the A or B side.
