Victron SmartShunt 1000 A
The SmartShunt Monitor is a new model of a high-precision condition monitoring system for up to two independent batteries without a display. Two connection cables with a fuse are included in the package.
The SmartShunt is a battery monitor just like the BMV series (only without the display). Your smartphone with the VictronConnect application becomes the display. The device connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect application on a smartphone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read all monitored battery parameters. Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected to and read by a GX device. The connection to the SmartShunt is made using the VE.Direct cable. The SmartShunt is a good alternative to the BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed, but less wiring is required and a conventional display is not required.
The SmartShunt is equipped with a Bluetooth interface, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used to monitor a second battery (mid-point monitoring or to connect a temperature sensor).
