The WD Blue SN5100 with a capacity of 1 TB uses the PCIe® Gen 4.0 x4 interface and achieves sequential read speeds of up to 7100 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6700 MB/s. It handles random operations at speeds of up to 1 million IOPS read and 1.3 million IOPS write. The M.2 2280 format ensures compatibility with most modern desktops and laptops.

The drive is equipped with SANDISK® QLC 3D CBA NAND next-generation memory and SANDISK® nCache™ 4.0 technology, which significantly accelerates copying large files and project folders. It supports TCG Pyrite 2.01 and ATA Security passthrough security features for data protection.

Compatibility and management

The drive is backward compatible with PCIe® Gen3 and Gen2 interfaces. Acronis® True Image™ for SANDISK® software is available with a 5-year license for easy data migration. Drive performance and health can be monitored using the SANDISK® Dashboard application.
