One of the biggest advantages of this switch is PoE support according to the IEEE 802.3at/bt standard on each port (4× PoE++ and 12× PoE+) for powering many devices. By default, the UniFi Switch auto-detects 802.3at/bt on the connected device so that the device can automatically receive PoE. The device also features backlit Etherlighting ports that indicate port location, speed/link and native VLAN/network (use UniFi Etherlighting cables for optimal brightness).
