NanoStation AC L oco is an outdoor design and has an integrated 13 dBi (5 GHz) with horizontal and vertical polarization (MIMO 2x2). For high transmission rates, the unit uses 256QAM modulation and the AirMAX TDMA protocol to achieve low latencies. The NanoStation AC Loco is the second generation of airMAX AC devices that support wireless access to the unit and the ability to set it up in the UNMS mobile app. The UNMS application also helps with the orientation of the connection and will significantly speed up its installation.

The airOS 8 web interface is intuitive and displays a real-time constellation diagram and SNR progress. The unit supports AP/client modes in Point-to-MultiBod or Point-to-Point networks and router or bridge modes.

NanoStation AC Loco, like every device in the airMAX AC series, has a dedicated radio for continuous spectrum analysis of the 5 GHz band. The NanoStation AC Loco has improved surge protection that protects the device against electrostatic discharge.
