EdgeRouter 4 combines high routing performance of up to 3.4 million packets/s, reliability, security and advanced features in an affordable design. The advantage is the SFP port for connection to the optical network.

EdgeRouter 4 has three Gbit Ethernet ports and one SFP port for connecting to the optical network. The entire operation is controlled and the performance is taken care of by a quad-core 1GHz MIPS64 processor and 1GB DDR3 operating memory.

Thanks to the intuitive EdgeOS graphical interface, the router can be easily set up, for example, DHCP, NAT, firewall rules and other functions necessary for the efficient operation of your network. A CLI terminal console is available for advanced users, so it is possible to use the full potential of the router and set everything needed in the command line.

EdgeRouter 4 settings are also possible in UNMS (Ubiquiti Network Management System) software. It provides remote configuration of devices from the EdgeMAX series, an intuitive web interface, graphical overviews for effective monitoring and troubleshooting.
