The 5-port gigabit desktop switch TL-SG1005D offers a total throughput of 10 Gbps and thus represents an easy way to transition to a network of the Gigabit Ethernet standard. This allows users at home, in the office, in a workgroup or in a creative production environment to move large, bandwidth-hungry files much faster. The transfer of graphics, CGI, CAD or multimedia files over the network takes place in an instant. It supports 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3p standards with the function of automatic crossing of UTP cables and data flow control.
The Switch supports Plug and Play (no configuration required) and Green Ethernet technology, which reduces the unit's electricity consumption by up to 75% within the function of decommissioning inactive ports and following the length of the patch cable used.
