The metal case for rack mounting in conjunction with the safe certified internal power supply makes the switch a very robust solution at a very affordable price for connecting up to 16 users. Utilizing a non-blocking switching architecture, the TL-SF1016DS forwards and filters packets at full cable speed to ensure maximum throughput. IEEE 802.3x flow control for full-duplex mode and backpressure for half-duplex mode mitigate network congestion and ensure reliable operation.
