Digital temperature sensor using the 1-Wire bus standard with quick installation using a Push Wire connector

The DS18B20UC sensor is compatible with standard DS18B20 sensors and provides accurate temperature measurements in the range -55 to +125 °C. Each sensor contains a pre-programmed unique serial ID, which allows connecting and reading multiple sensors on one bus. The aluminum base ensures very fast heat transfer to the sensor itself.

The device is equipped with a miniature Push Wire connector for twisted pair with a cross section of up to 0.5 mm² or thinner wires, which allows quick and easy installation in the target location. The sensor circuit is protected by resin against moisture and mechanical damage with IP44 protection.

1-Wire technology

The 1-Wire bus allows communication with many sensors using a single data wire. Each sensor is factory-programmed with a unique 64-bit serial number, which serves as its address on the bus.

Protection against moisture and mechanical damage

The sensor circuit is protected by a layer of resin, which ensures resistance to moisture and mechanical damage. To ensure a permanent connection and resistance to moisture, it is recommended to secure the connector with technical petroleum jelly after connecting the cable.

Energy efficiency

The sensor is characterized by extremely low power consumption - in standby mode only 1 µA at 3 V and during temperature conversion only 0.6 mA at 3 V, which makes it ideal for battery-powered applications and systems with an emphasis on energy efficiency.
