Teltonika RUTM20 — industrial 5G router

The Teltonika RUTM20 router excels in demanding IoT and IIoT applications where reliability, performance and flexibility are key. Thanks to the global Telit 5G modem with 5G Sub-6GHz SA/NSA support, it achieves speeds of up to 2.5/3.4 Gbps DL (4×4 MIMO) for data-intensive transmissions. The combination of Dual SIM (2× physical SIM slots) and eSIM with up to seven profiles gives users the ability to seamlessly switch between operators. In addition, PoE In/Out support simplifies installation by allowing the router and connected devices to be powered with a single cable. The compact aluminum body with passive cooling and a wide temperature range -40 to +75 °C ensures robust operation even in extreme conditions.

Global connectivity and flexible configuration

Teltonika RUTM20 offers wide connectivity options thanks to support for 5G, LTE Cat 19 (1.6 Gbps DL) and 3G (42 Mbps DL) networks. Dual SIM and eSIM functions enable automatic switching between operators in case of weak signal or exceeding the data limit, ensuring uninterrupted operation. With support for Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac Wave 2) and speeds of up to 867 Mbps in dual band mode, the router is ideal for wirelessly connecting multiple devices at once, while the MU-MIMO function ensures stable data transmission even under high load.

Advanced power supply and durable design

With support for PoE In (802.3af/at) on the WAN port, the router can be powered directly via a network cable, simplifying installation in places with limited access to the power grid. On the other hand, the PoE Out (802.3af/at) function on the LAN port allows powering connected devices (e.g. cameras) up to 30 W, eliminating the need for additional power supplies. Thanks to passive cooling and a durable aluminum body, trouble-free operation is guaranteed even in very demanding conditions.

Security, management and industrial protocols

The router is equipped with a TPM 2.0 module for advanced security and supports a wide range of VPN protocols, such as OpenVPN, IPsec and WireGuard, for a secure connection. The RutOS operating system (built on OpenWrt) provides support for remote management via Teltonika RMS as well as standards such as TR-069, MQTT and SNMP. For IoT integration, there is support for industrial protocols, including Modbus TCP, OPC UA, BACnet/IP and DLMS/COSEM, which facilitates deployment in energy, automation and transportation.
