Designed for use in network environments where the implementation of 10Gigabit Ethernet is required due to very high bandwidth, such as in cloud computing centers, enterprise backbone networks, campus networks and operator infrastructure.

This XST-705A converter can be used as a standalone unit or as a plug-in module into a 19" PLANET Managed Media Converter Chassis (MC-1610MR or MC-1610MR48).
