PLANET ICS-2100T

The PLANET ICS-2100T is designed to convert RS232, RS422 or RS485 serial communication to an industrial Fast Ethernet network for cheap and efficient network expansion. There is one 10/100BASE-TX RJ-45 port for your network needs. The converter offers a time-saving and cost-effective solution for users and system integrators who quickly transform their serial devices to Ethernet without the need to replace the existing serial devices and software system.

Of course, remote management is included, enabling efficient management via Web, Telnet and VCOM. It supports both application and serial operation modes to connect an alarm or IP address, which saves the network administrator time in detecting and locating network problems without visual inspection of cabling and equipment. Multiple connection options are available for large network environments. In addition, it provides stable performance in demanding conditions and has a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and strong electrical surges, which are usually found on equipment floors or traffic control cabinets. The wide operating temperature range allows the device to be placed in almost any difficult environment. Compact metal housing with IP30 protection, allows mounting on a DIN rail or on the wall for efficient use of cabinet space. Power is provided by an integrated redundant supply with a wide voltage range 9 to 48 V DC / 24 V AC, ideal for worldwide operation with high-speed applications requiring dual or backup power.

The Fault Alarm function notifies the user as soon as an error occurs on the server, thus saving time associated with searching for the problem. At the same time, it helps diagnose unusual device behavior due to whether the network connection has been interrupted or rebooted.
