For demanding industrial environments where reliable long-distance Ethernet connectivity is needed, the Planet IFT-802TS15 is the ideal solution. This optical converter supports 100Base-TX and 100Base-FX, which allows the integration of existing metallic networks with optical routes. Thanks to the single-mode SC optical port with a range of up to 15 km, it is suitable for large areas such as production halls, factories or outdoor installations. Its IP30 protection and operating temperature -40 to 75 °C ensure reliability even in extreme conditions. A key advantage is also the redundant power supply and protection against overvoltage and reverse polarity.

Planet IFT-802TS15 is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of an industrial environment. Thanks to its robust design, it meets the standards IEC-60068-2-32 (drop resistance), IEC-60068-2-6 (vibration resistance) and IEC-60068-2-27 (overload resistance). This means that the converter can handle physical loads, shocks and demanding mechanical conditions without losing functionality. The aluminum housing increases resistance to mechanical damage, while electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) meets strict standards such as ČSN EN 55032:2015 and ČSN EN 61000-4-2:2008 (electrostatic discharge ESD).

Flexible mounting and redundant power supply

Installation of the device is easy thanks to the possibility of mounting on a DIN rail or on a wall using the supplied frame. Redundant power supply in the range 12-48V DC ensures maximum availability and protection against outages. The power connection is made via a terminal block, which, thanks to its position on the bottom panel, does not interfere with installation. In addition, the device is protected against reverse polarity and offers a total power consumption of only 3 W, which reduces energy consumption.
