Switches for industrial Ethernet are designed for demanding operating conditions with a wide range of operating temperatures, uncertain power supply and frequent shocks. IFGS series switches are easily installed on a standard DIN rail or directly on the wall and enable the deployment of well-known Ethernet technology even in industrial environments. They are also suitable for installation in outdoor cabinets with large operating temperature fluctuations (typically wireless and MAN ISP applications).

The IFGS-620TF supports super-fast ring redundancy technology that is fault-tolerant and features a fast self-healing function that prevents interruptions and external interference. The dual SFP ports include advanced ring data recovery via DIP switch. In a simple ring network with 8 units, the data link recovery time can be up to 1 ms. Due to the differences between the One Key Ring and ERPS Ring functions available in PLANET industrial devices, the two functions are not compatible with each other. The IFGS-620TF One Key Ring function offers simpler and faster deployment via DIP switch settings**.
