With support for GPON standards ITU-T G.984.x and transmission rates of up to 2.5 Gbps downstream and 1.25 Gbps upstream, it provides reliable performance for high-speed Internet, IPTV and VoIP. With a range of up to 20 km and a splitting ratio of 1:128, it is an ideal choice for passive optical networks with high user density.

PLANET GPN-SFP supports advanced features such as Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA) and QoS, ensuring bandwidth optimization and data traffic prioritization. This is crucial for applications where latency needs to be minimized, such as IPTV or VoIP. Multicast support including IGMP snooping and MLD snooping enables efficient data distribution, which is important for multimedia services. With low power consumption of less than 2.5 W and power supply directly from the SFP slot, the device achieves maximum efficiency in operation.
