MikroTik KNOT Embedded LTE4 is a miniature but powerful industrial gateway designed for integrators, automation specialists and IoT system builders. With compact dimensions of 90 × 70 × 22 mm, it fits into tight spaces and allows direct mounting on a DIN rail. It provides reliable LTE Cat4 connectivity with support for Bluetooth 5.4 and GNSS for positioning.
The device is equipped with a 32-bit ARM Cortex A7 processor with a clock speed of up to 1.2 GHz, 256 MB DDR RAM and 512 MB storage. It supports 2×2 MIMO for download and 1×1 MIMO for upload with maximum speeds of 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. EC25-EU modem covers a wide range of LTE, 3G and 2G bands for maximum compatibility in the EMEA region.
- LTE Cat4 EC25-EU modem with support for 6 LTE FDD bands (1/3/7/8/20/28A), 3 LTE TDD bands (38/40/41), 2 3G bands and 2 2G bands for the EMEA region.
- Powerful RouterOS v7 with level 3 license provides a full-fledged network stack, VPN, firewall, SMS control and notifications, automation and remote management.
- Bluetooth 5.4 for data collection from IoT sensors and beacons, GNSS with support for GPS, Glonass, Galileo and BeiDou for precise positioning.
- GPIO header with 2 inputs for automation and monitoring (digital input, analog input, OD output), all pins tolerant to 24 V.
- Flexible power supply via PoE-In 802.3af/at (12-57 V) or USB Type-C (5 V) with maximum power consumption of 7 W.
- Industrial design for extreme conditions with operating temperature -40 to +70 °C, DIN rail or screw mounting.
- Dual SIM support with nano SIM slot and integrated eSIM for backup connectivity or operator selection.
- Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE-In for connection to existing infrastructure or as a backup line.

The device is ideal for retail kiosks, payment terminals, digital signage, LTE backup connectivity for existing Ethernet devices, IoT gateways for BLE sensors and beacons, smart city infrastructure (parking, sensors, metering), coffee machine and vending machine monitoring, industrial automation cabinets, environmental and utility monitoring or vehicle and asset tracking using GNSS.
