Backup lead battery (6 V, capacity 9 Ah) in VRLA (AGM) design.

AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) technology

Although the battery contains an electrolyte in a liquid state, it is "stuck" in the glass laminate microfibers, or in the so-called glass wool, and is thus firmly bound in the bowels of the battery cells (its leakage is practically precluded) .
