Small-Form-Pluggable (SFP) miniGBIC conversion Gigabit module. Standard 1000Base-LX, IEEE82.3z. Simplex LC connector, for single-mode fibers. It enables two-way communication over a single optical fiber.

Expands/converts switch and converter ports with miniGBIC (SFP) slots. E.g. for GSW-2400, FGSW-4840S, SGSW-2620, WGT/GT-705A, ENW-9607M.

For the connection between WDM modules, it is necessary to combine the TX/RX wavelengths of the opposite sides, pairs of modules are usually distinguished by a code representing the A or B side.
