The Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is a professional DC-DC adaptive three-stage charger with a built-in Bluetooth function. It is intended for use in dual battery systems on vehicles or boats where an alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and controlled remotely using a remote on/off switch.

The Orion Tr-Smart charger can be used in 12 V or 24 V systems and is suitable for both lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries. Models up to 400 W are available. To increase the output power, you can connect an unlimited number of units in parallel. It is also suitable for use at high ambient temperatures (up to 55 °C) and at full rated output power up to 40 °C.

With Bluetooth Smart connection option

Any smartphone, tablet or other device can be used to monitor, change settings and update the charger when new software features are available.

Adaptive three-stage charging algorithm: fast - absorption - floating

• For lead-acid batteries, it is important to keep the absorption time short during mild discharges to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time increases automatically to ensure a full battery charge
• Absorption time for lithium batteries is constant, 2 hours by default.
• Or a constant output voltage can be chosen.

Remote on/off

A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to the two-pole connector. Or the H (right) terminal of the two-pole connector can be switched to the positive terminal of the battery, or the L (left) terminal of the two-pole connector can be switched to the negative terminal of the battery (or, for example, the vehicle chassis).

All models are equipped with short-circuit protection and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current

The number of units that can be connected in parallel is not limited. High temperature protection. Output current will decrease at high ambient temperature.
