The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect Motion Sensor is designed for reliable, maintenance-free area security. Thanks to the proprietary SuperLink protocol with a range of up to 2 km, it maintains a stable connection even in challenging environments. Reliable Motion Detection with Minimal False Alarms

The sensor employs a combination of horizontal and vertical PIR sensors. The vertical sensor has a range of up to 6 meters and is designed with pet immunity, making it ideal for households with pets. The horizontal sensor offers a detection range of up to 1.5 meters for precise motion monitoring. These features ensure reliable motion detection with minimal disruption caused by false alarms.

Long Lifespan and Low Power Consumption

With a maximum power consumption of just 22.6 mW, the sensor is designed for maximum efficiency. It is powered by a CR123A lithium battery, enabling up to 6 years of operation without the need for replacement. This means less maintenance and long-term reliability.

Stable connectivity even in challenging conditions

Thanks to the proprietary SuperLink protocol, the sensor communicates on frequencies of 915.6-927.6 MHz (US) or 865.1-869.5 MHz (EU) with a maximum transmit power of 14 dBm. With a range of up to 2 km, it provides a stable connection, whether in a home environment or across larger premises. A built-in 1 dBi gain antenna further enhances transmission reliability.
