The adapter allows you to expand the desktop by two external HDMI monitors via DisplayPort, and display a different image on each. It transmits image and sound and handles resolutions up to 4K×2K at 60 Hz. It also supports HDR, 3D, HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 or DSC. Works with laptops, PCs or desktop graphics cards (requires a host system with DP 1.4/HBR3/MST or higher from HP, Dell and Lenovo and AMD, NVIDIA and Intel graphics cards).
Attention
- MacOS does not support Multi-Stream Transport (MST)
- so enhanced mode is not available
- but only Mirror and Duplicate. Apple devices themselves enable the MST feature
- but must be running on an OS other than MacOS.
