The unique Helmer LK 508 GPS locator, with OBD II autodiagnostics, uses signals from GSM/GPRS networks and GPS satellites. It enables the tracking and localization of objects with the determination of exact GPS location and subsequent sending of information and coordinates via SMS to a preset number or via GPRS to a computer. It is therefore necessary to insert a prepaid SIM card or a SIM card with an SMS or data plan into the locator. Other functions include eavesdropping, movement alerts, exceeding the set speed and turning off the locator. OBD II self-diagnosis is compatible with cars with gasoline engines, manufactured in the EU after 2001 and diesel engines, manufactured in the EU after 2003.
