EPEVER TRC1206 — Solar MPPT Controller

For RV or PV system owners looking for efficient energy management, the EPEVER TRC1206 controller is the ideal solution. Thanks to the advanced MPPT algorithm, the controller achieves maximum tracking efficiency ≥ 99.5% and conversion efficiency 98.1%, which minimizes energy losses when charging batteries. The controller automatically detects battery voltage (12/24 V) and is optimized for direct power supply to the load in no battery mode if the solar panels provide sufficient power. In addition, it offers wide battery compatibility and flexible communication options, making it an ideal choice for a variety of applications.

High efficiency and charging flexibility

Thanks to advanced MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology, the controller maximizes the energy gain from solar panels, even in less favorable conditions. Automatic detection of 12/24 V batteries and support for a wide range of battery types, including LiFePO4, AGM, Gel and flooded batteries, allows easy integration into existing systems. Stable self-activation of lithium batteries ensures reliable operation even at low charge levels.

Reliability and protection in harsh conditions

The controller is designed to operate in a wide temperature range -30 °C to +60 °C, with no derating required up to 40 °C. Thanks to IP20 protection, it is suitable for installation in protected environments. The system is equipped with short-circuit protection and an isolated RS-485 interface, which increases overall reliability even in harsh conditions.

Communication and remote monitoring options

EPEVER TRC1206 supports flexible communication interfaces with several configurations: 2× RS-485, RS-485 + CAN (RV-C) or RS-485 + LIN (CI-BUS). Thanks to the optional 4G/Wi-Fi modules, the controller can be easily connected to monitoring systems and its operation can be remotely controlled. Parallel operation of multiple units is supported via a dedicated CAN port with RV-C protocol, which makes it easy to expand the system.
