Fast Ethernet converter/switch 10/100Base-TX-100Base-FX, SC simplex connector, max 20km, full duplex, singlemode, two-way transmission over one fiber (WDM). Transmits at 1310nm, receives at 1550nm. propagating the LLR bug.

WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) converters allowing Fast Ethernet to be operated over a single optical fiber. They thus allow the capacity of already laid optical routes to be immediately doubled. They convert metallic Fast Ethernet 100Base-T to optical 100Base-FX. Due to the fact that these are real switches, the individual connected network segments are always collision-separated and therefore their range is always maximum.

For proper operation, the device must be purchased in pairs, i.e. one FT-806A and one FT-806B. Each of them receives and transmits on a different light wavelength. The converters are intended for single mode fibers, they have a range of 20 km.
