GOOWEI ENERGY OTL100-12
Lead-acid 12 V (100 Ah) battery in VRLA GEL design designed for deep discharge and cyclic stress. It is therefore suitable for backup systems.
OTL series traction gel batteries. These are sealed lead-acid batteries in VRLA design. This is a design in which the internal pressure is regulated using valves (VRLA - Valve Regulated Lead Acid = valve-controlled lead-acid batteries). GEL technology means that the battery does not contain electrolyte in a liquid state. The electrolyte is reinforced in a hybrid gel (combination with AGM), and is thus firmly bound in the interior of the battery cells, which prevents its leakage. The extra-strong cell grid ensures high cyclic resistance of the battery.
The battery can also be used for applications in "standby" mode, when the batteries are under constant power supply and serve as a backup source in the event of a power outage. They are particularly suitable where there are frequent outages or where the batteries are deeply discharged.

Cyclic endurance depending on the depth of discharge
Battery maintenance
To achieve optimal battery life with frequent cyclic operation, it is necessary to respect the maximum permissible depth of discharge of 80% D.o.D. (Depth of Discharge) specified by the ČSN EN 61044 standard. When storing batteries for a longer period, it is necessary to ensure their continuous charging. At a storage temperature of 25 °C, charge every 6 months, if the temperature is higher, charge more often. Operating temperature range: charging -20 to +50 °C, discharging -20 to +50 °C, storage -10 to +40 °C. Long-term exposure of batteries to temperature extremes shortens their service life.
