Backup 12V, 20Ah lead acid battery in VRLA (AGM) design suitable for applications without frequent cycling with a reliable backup source.

It is a design in which internal pressure is regulated using valves (VRLA - valve regulated lead acid = valve regulated lead acid batteries). The advantages of this design, together with AGM technology (Absorbed Glass Mat - although the battery contains electrolyte in a liquid state, it is however soaked in fiberglass microfibers, or in the so-called glass wool, thus it is firmly bound in the bowels of the battery cells, and its leakage is practically excluded) are mainly the following:

Cyclic durability depending on the depth of discharge

Battery maintenance

To achieve optimal battery life with frequent cyclic operation, it is necessary to respect the maximum permissible depth of discharge of 80% d.o.d. specified by the ČSN EN 61044 standard. When storing batteries for a longer period, it is necessary to ensure their continuous charging. At a storage temperature of 25 °C, charge every 6 months, if the temperature is higher, charge more often. Operating temperature range: charging -15 to 40 °C, discharging -15 to 50 °C, storage -10 to 40 °C. Long-term exposure of batteries to temperature extremes shortens their life.
