MikroTik hAP ax2
MikroTik hAP ax2 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router with five gigabit RJ-45 ports and support for PoE input/output on 1. port, thanks to which the router can power another external device (e.g. a wAP unit). The elegant and futuristic design makes it an excellent router for home and office use. The main advantage is support for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, in the latest 802.11ax + Wave2 standard. The router also offers high performance in the form of a 4-core ARM processor Qualcomm IPQ-6010 operating at a frequency of 864 MHz, 1 GB of RAM and 128 MB of NAND storage.
A modern quad-core processor operating at 864 MHz combined with a decent RAM capacity represents sufficient performance when it comes to demanding operations such as complex firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, using multiple threads or experimenting with various advanced features of RouterOS.
